To increase the momentum of scientific progress, the research outputs need to be shared as soon as possible. And to create a platform for sharing the outputs, the people from the community of practice, Open Access India along with others who felt the need to have such a platform in place came together to launch and develop a preprint repository for the Indian researchers, the IndiaRxiv – India Archive with the support of the Centre for Open Science (COS). However, due to some reasons, IndiaRxiv could not be with COS but had got a new host, Society for Promotion of Horticulture (SPH), Bengaluru which is hosting IndiaRxiv.org. The existing content in the repository hosted by COS will remain accessible as part of COS’s ongoing commitment to Open Science.
